Speech Production Study

My name is Halden Levin, and I am an undergraduate Linguistics major. For my honors thesis, I am investigating factors influencing speech production in American English and Taiwanese Mandarin. Researching these factors will allow us to better understand speech production.

What will be asked of you

During one 30-minute session, you will answer demographic questions on a computer and then be recorded reading sentences in the presence of the researcher.

Looking for Specific Volunteers

Able to participate:

You are at least 18 years old.
You are a native American English speaker.
You have lived in the United States for most of your life.
You are willing to have your voice recorded.

Not eligible if:

You have a speech or hearing impairment.
